Cropdots Case Study

The founder of Cropdots envisioned a community-driven social network for local farmers and organics enthusiasts to find, buy, and sell local produce via a simple, social app.

Client Concerns:

Cropdots’ main concerns was budget, quality, and speed to market. With our help the client was able to launch a robust native iPhone app in eight weeks within budget parameters. The result was an app with a clean interface and professional-grade e-commerce functionality.

User Experience and Design Strategy:

Our team worked with Cropdots to craft this marketplace and get their business up and running. We met the Cropdots' app requirements by tracking user GPS coordinates to pintpoint nearby vendors selling fresh produce.

We were able to develop a mobile application that met these requirements by leveraging users’ internal GPS’s to pinpoint nearby vendors selling fresh produce. The intuitive interface lets users browse product photos and descriptions and quickly place an order straight from the app. This high security e-commerce platform uses Stripe technology to instantly transfer payments to and from most major banks. Users can choose to pick up their order personally or browse delivery options. Vendors are also able to photograph and upload merchandise listings and broadcast their offerings to users with little effort and excellent customer engagement and convenience.
